Using Our Rights Honorably

Under the law we have rights human and constitutional, we also have a free will which enables us to choose between right and wrong. Therefore in a free society we are free to express ourselves in any way we choose. However, our rights also carry a heavy even sacred responsibility, that being in the exercise of them. When we are confronted with an opportunity to use our right to free speech, are we using it to enlighten, correct and edify or are we using it to tear-down, accuse and harm another person or group of people.

We need to always ask this question does the exercise of My rights overstep boundries and/or cause another to stumble? If the answer is yes is not the decision to use retraint also practicing our rights? Should not our free will and the expression of our rights also have the proper balance?
